A Fire mock drill and Fire fighting First Aid class was conducted for the students of Sagritara School, Prem Nagar on Thursday at School assembly hall. Altogether 550 students participated in the mock drill event. The drill commenced with issuing of Fire Warning Alarm. The students were safely evacuated and assembled at school assembly hall.
Further to generate adequate and appropriate awareness amongst the children about fire hazard and safety, Shri. Arun Chandra Pal, Station Officer, Fire Services (Marine) briefly explained about uses of various types of extinguishers.
Miss. Preety Kujur, Headmistress of Sagritara School proposed the vote on the event thanking Shri. Arun Chandra Pal for successful conduct of mock drill and fire fighting first aid class.
